- conditional use site plan application that is reviewed, has to be reviewed by the zoning and planning commission and their
- planning commission to get a recommendation from them based on, uh, the charter, uh, and early may, and then we'll
- actually been updated to April 28th. Uh, and we'll be going back to the planning commission for their recommendation in May 10th
- the final phase of the amendment process is, um, presenting to the planning commission for their, uh, recommendation, um, as
- , plan to the other commissions, to the planning commission, the other land use commission. So I think it'd be

- Uh, maybe to order, um, so having a quorum, um, we'll go ahead and get this, uh, meeting of the planning commission started. Uh, the
- , before this planning commission meeting. Um, as I mentioned in the briefing last, uh, last meeting, there was some confusion
- got time, is could you help explain what other opportunities for public engagement there are if the planning commission decides
- public hearing at a planning commission. And then I remember correctly for council it's 16 days before a public hearing
- take this item through the planning commission as well, which has notification requirements. And so April 7th has been the
- , erroneous comments made about 11 days required when it's really 14 for the planning commission, the conflation of notification of
- it were postponed by planning commission council would likely have to note that postponement to a council meeting after
- the planning commission action. Um, and, and there wouldn't be required notification. That doesn't mean that there couldn't be
- into the May 10th planning commission meeting. All right. Do we have a second? Uh, let's see, uh, commissioner Shea, uh
- notified and to get in at the planning commission level. Um, and I think that trying to move forward with this
- current zoning is maintained because he has exactly what he purchased. We respectfully request that the planning commission deny the

- mechanism for us to actually do that. And as the planning commission, rather than just tell council, they should
- go to council, I want them to be clear and provide the consensus opinion of what the planning commission thinks
- and good way to have that discussion at the planning commission level. And so that's why I think, uh, it
- planning commission were a wake-up call for me in particular, the, uh, the case that was at south Lamar and
- direct the working group to develop a resolution that will identify issues where the planning commission asks for
- question? Sure. From staff, um, does the planning commission have the authority to create resolutions for staff work
