- It is six or seven, and we're going to bring this meeting at the planning commission to order. Um, first off, we're going to do, um
- vote today is to change our rules about where the planning commission meetings are held, I know we've got a packed agenda, but
- . I would ask the planning commission to consider who this rezoning benefits in the long-term does it benefit the current
- oftentimes neighborhood groups get what they want. They come here and before the planning commission and the planning commission moves
- case next. Oh, I'm sorry. The C2 case next, which is just planning commission while we transition for the
- , that you do here on the planning commission. Want to, um, also thank the applicant, uh, for, uh, their
- asking the planning commission to help us hold the line. It's really crucial that we hold the line here. Um
- works, director Richardson, densa approved the application and directed staff to take the item to planning commission and
- the planning commission recommends and the city council approves, then, um, a plan for the development of the property
- some of them in person. So since we're at the planning commission, I thought we should discuss some of
- of the planning commission. My name is Patricia Bobak. You might recognize the name. I cleaned up east Austin
- code required it to come to the planning commission for, for a decision making process. So that was why
- not going to comment on that, but, but the process is to come to the party, to this planning commission. I
- council and they can move the planning commission. So it really all comes down to, would you mind letting me
- , TCM work group, your hard work. And we're going to turn this meeting of the planning commission at 1159 and appreciate it.
- is not the sovereign entity that makes the decision that the decision-making process for this is the planning
- commission, which is why we're here tonight is as much as I know, this is probably not their favorite part

- city hall hall, it has hosted the meetings of the zoning and planning commission where a city management has decided
- to move the meetings of the zoning and planning commission, the planning commission, and the board of adjustment to the

- and the commissioners, whereas public hearings on zoning and land use cases by the zoning and planning commission and the
- room. Whereas there was no reason operationally to move the zoning and planning commission meetings to the PDC because support
- staff does not work at that location. Now, therefore be it resolved the city of Austin zoning and planning commission cell

- more trust between the different members of the planning commission. Um, and so, you know, Jim was always the first one
