- that we'll be going to the planning commission and absolutely needs your vote. Number seven is, uh, you're. You are
- through this process. Um, but what's important here is we are looking to get final approval from planning commission, um
- looking to attend planning commission in June for their review and to seek their approval as well. Next slide morning of
- a public hearing like we're doing right now, and then go to the planning commission. So operationally I'll let Waterloo
- to the planning commission for the approval of the conditioning. So my motion is that the parks and recreation board
- make a recommendation to the planning commission for the approval of a conditioning conditional use permit for Waterloo park for
- nine members that are from like the design commission, environmental commission, parks, and rec board planning, commission, affordable

- point to bring this meeting of the planning commission. Uh, um, go ahead and call this meeting to order it's. Uh, May 25th. We
- of the planning commission last time with the public and connectivity and, and with, um, uh, the safety of the
- know, th those kinds of things. So this is a cultural issue. It is time for the planning commission and the city
- sometimes with planning commission recommendations is if a motion is made of, um, basically saying that conditional overlay
- friendly reminder that we do have parameters that this application is viewed by the planning commission. Okay. That was, did
- , the parameters with the planning commission is supposed to operate. So that's the reason, I mean, I, I prefer
- and our planning commission. Well, we'll try to meet that for you. Ma'am I have, I'm sorry. We're at a
- of 90 feet for this site, and ultimately received a positive recommendation from the planning commission at that
- meeting of the planning commission at, uh, 1128. Uh, thank you so much for hanging in there. Folks .

- the next step would be myself and hopefully vice-chair role. And soon we'll take it to the planning commission in June
- the question is, um, if you, if you send this document to city council, uh, is that after the planning commission, is
- that what you mentioned before? Yes. We're going to go to planning commission first. Okay. And get their support
- planning commission before you present it or no, because obviously have a quick turnaround here. Okay. No, cause it's due
- to planning commission, otherwise if we have to wait another month, um, for us to approve it, then obviously it's
- another month for planning commission and everything gets pushed back. So yes. Thank you. And just to clarify, commissioners, it
- your approach to the planning commission and the council to get this on their docket for action, because all of you
- opportunity to make this request of them, or is it just a scheduling issue because we've told planning commission, we
- us asking council and talking to planning commission and actually updating urban design guidelines. I'm a hundred percent behind
- stacks up, Right? So I really think that you should go ahead with the planning commission, we, and then we've got
- were raised, but I think we need to move forward, go onto the planning commission and then iron things out and
- planning, commission and council. We will have, you know, a month to, to work on it as well and to kind of
- tweak it. So I think anything that we're going to say planning commission is likely going to say as well. So, you
- by listing specific planning, recommendations, plan commission recommendations that help you tell that story. So there is a much
- added value by having your colleagues on the planning commission, support your initiative. It gives a tremendous amount of weight
- I'm on board. Let's do it Clarify Meda clarify. Yes, please. Thank you. You will also get recommendations from planning
- commission. Keep that in mind that will help to tell your story that you can also augment or add to your document

- Ah, okay. And it looks like we have a quorum. So I'll call this meeting of the zoning and planning commission to order. Um, and today is
- know, here are the subdivisions that went to the planning commission. Here are the subdivisions that went to the
- last piece, um, that, you know, was finally resulted in this case being brought forward to the zoning and planning

- going back through the, uh, planning commission, because these items have already been through the planning commission, it still
- that it, the, it would come back to council without having to go through the planning commission process again, since it's
- about skipping the planning commission process, um, in 25 dash one dash five Oh two. Um, and it's only a, uh
- since it went to the planning commission, we do know that how we're able to build what we're able to build
- this commission as it stands, the new planning commission to be able to weigh in on this, given that quite a bit
- forward. I've been supportive of moving it forward the whole time and the planning commission meets every two weeks. So
- you go back to the, through the, um, the land of the commission review process, it's not just the planning commission. It
- has to go back to a committee of ordinances or the complaining commission, and then to the planning commission and
- , the council just considered this language very recently. And, um, I understand that there are new planning commission members
- , but I don't think that we need to send everything back through the planning commission again, uh, because there's a
