YOU'RE TAKING US THROUGH THE CONSENT AGENDA. ABSOLUTELY. UH, ITEMS ONE THROUGH THREE ARE A LAND ACQUISITION OF PROPOSED ASSEMBLAGE OF THREE PROPERTIES, UM, ON CULLEN LANE. UH, AND THE BACKUP MEMO THAT YOU RECEIVED IS AN OVERALL, UM, PROFILE OF THE LAND ACQUISITION THAT HAS OCCURRED THUS FAR UTILIZING THE 2018 AFFORDABLE HOUSING BONDS. AS YOU WILL RECALL, WE SET ASIDE $100 MILLION OUT OF THAT $250 MILLION FOR LAND ACQUISITION. AND TO DATE BETWEEN, UM, EXECUTED CONTRACTS, PURCHASES, AND ENCUMBRANCES WE'RE AT APPROXIMATELY 55 MILLION, INCLUDING THE, UM, TODAY'S PROPOSED ACQUISITION OF THE THREE PARCELS ON COLLIN LANE. THOSE ARE ITEMS ONE THROUGH THREE. THAT IS A SUMMARY OF THE BACKUP MEMO ITEM NUMBER FOUR, UM, IS, UH, AUTHORIZING US TO MOVE FORWARD WITH A RECONSTITUTED, A NEW, UM, H F C SUBSIDIARY FOR, UM, THE ARBORS AT CREEKSIDE PROPERTY. AND I DO WANT TO NOTE AT RECOGNIZE THAT THERE WERE TWO SPEAKERS PREVIOUSLY, UM, ON THIS MORNING'S AGENDA WHO SPOKE TO, UH, SOME OF THE CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES AT ARBORS AT CREEKSIDE. UM, I WANT TO RECOGNIZE, UH, COUNCIL MEMBER, NATASHA HARPER, MADISON, WE'VE BEEN WORKING CLOSELY WITH HER OFFICE. UM, OUR STAFF HAS BEEN FANTASTIC, WHICH THE SPEAKERS DID RECOGNIZE THE JAMES MAY AND PATRICK RUSSELL WHO HAVE BEEN WORKING TO ADDRESS SOME OF THE RESIDENT ISSUES THERE. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, WHAT YOU ARE CONTEMPLATING TODAY IS THE FIRST STEP, UM, IN REALLY, UM, MANY STEPS THAT WILL TAKE US TOWARD RE-CAPITALIZATION OF THAT PROPERTY, UM, AND REPOSITIONING IT OR DEEPER AFFORDABILITY, A MORE LONG-TERM AFFORDABILITY. SO PRESERVATION OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING, WE'RE VERY EXCITED ABOUT ITEM NUMBER FIVE IS AUTHORIZING US TO MOVE FORWARD WITH A NEW NONPROFIT AFFILIATE, UM, HFC, LIBOR, TOD NONPROFIT CORPORATION. UM, THAT IS THE GROUP THAT IS, UM, THE SUCCESSFUL PROPOSER FOR THE GARDNER ACQUISITION. UM, YOU KNOW, WE'LL CALL THAT YOU ALL APPROVED, UM, US MOVING FORWARD WITH THE CASINO GROUP AND KERATITIS ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE GARDNER TRACK, UM, IN CENTRAL EAST AUSTIN. UH, WE'RE VERY EXCITED ABOUT THAT. AND, UH, I WILL NOTE YOU ALSO THIS MORNING, UM, MISS THE NOVIA, JOSEPH HAD SOME COMMENTS ABOUT THIS PARTICULAR, UM, UH, THIS PARTICULAR ITEM ON THE AGENDA, AND I WILL REACH OUT TO HER SEPARATELY, BUT, UH, CURRENTLY, UH, WE ARE, UH, ANTICIPATING AT LEAST 140 UNITS. SO WE'RE IN THE NEGOTIATION PHASE AND WE'VE INCREASED THE NUMBER OF UNITS RENTAL UNITS ON THAT PROPERTY. IN ADDITION, WE HAVE ADDITIONAL HOME OWNERSHIP UNITS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH GUADALUPE NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT CORPORATIONS THAT'LL PROVIDE AN ADDITIONAL 26 UNITS ON TOP OF, UM, THE PROPOSED 140 UNITS. ITEM. NUMBER SIX IS A CONTRACT WITH, UM, ECHO, THE ENDING COMMUNITY HOMELESSNESS COALITION, AND THAT'S TO PROVIDE SOME PROFESSIONAL SERVICES. ITEM. NUMBER SEVEN IS A 10 MONTH, UH, WITH TWO MONTH EXTENSION CONTRACT WITH HAKA UTILIZING OUR HOME TV, OUR A TENANT BASED RENTAL ASSISTANCE, UM, TO PROVIDE, UM, RAPID REHOUSING FOR PEOPLE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS, ITEM NUMBER EIGHT, UM, IS AN AMENDMENT TO THE HFC OPERATING BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $699. AND ITEM NUMBER NINE IS AMENDING THE SERVICE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND HFC OR THAT SAME AMOUNT. AND THIS IS RELATED TO ITEM NUMBER 33, WHICH YOU ALL PROVED ON CONSENT THIS MORNING.
