AND IN THE MIDDLE OF APRIL, WE'VE GONE THROUGH EXTENSIVE REVIEW MEETINGS WITH SENIOR MANAGEMENT, CAME BACK TO THE BOARD COMMITTEES AND MADE TO GO OVER THE, THE BUDGET CALENDAR. ANOTHER ENCOURAGING THING IS THAT AUSTIN BROWN ROCK MSA ANNUAL GROWTH RATE IN APRIL, WHICH WAS OUR LATEST, UM, DATA POINT, DID IMPROVE 11.8% GOING ON TO OPERATING REVENUE, UM, OR FARE REVENUE. WE'LL BRING TO THE BOARD NEXT MONTH IN JULY WITH A PROPOSAL THAT'S BEING DEVELOPED WITH OUR UPDATED RIDERSHIP PROJECTIONS. THE OTHER DAY ON, YOU CAN SEE ONE OF THOSE PICTURES, UH, VICE-CHAIR TREVELYAN, UH, WAS THERE WITH US, UH, AND ALSO, UH, AUSTIN TRANSIT PARTNERSHIP CHAIR, VERONICA CASTRO, DEBRA, UH, WAS IN, IS IN THE PICTURE AS WELL, AND REPRESENTING ATP BEING PART OF, UH, GETTING ATP AS PART OF THIS TRADITION OF CAP METRO INSIDE THE JUNETEENTH PARADE. UH, BUT A GREAT, A GREAT CELEBRATION AS ALWAYS. NO, IT'S A LOT OF CANDY THAT FOR ME, THAT'S FOR SURE. UH, THE, UH, PICKUP WE TALKED ABOUT THAT, THAT, THAT OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED. SO WE'RE LOOKING FORWARD TO GETTING THAT OUT IN THE COMMUNITY, UH, IN GROW AND GROWING THAT SERVICE. AND THEN LAST BUT NOT LEAST, UH, I WANTED TO HIGHLIGHT ON FRIDAY CAT AND METRO, UH, GOT WORD FROM THE FEDERAL TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION, AND WE RECEIVED A $2.9 MILLION LOW AND NO EMISSIONS GRANT, UH, TO THE HELP OF PURCHASE OF ELECTRIC BUSES AND CHARGING EQUIPMENT. SO THEY, UH, DID 49 PROJECTS ACROSS THE COUNTRY. AND WE WERE SELECTED THAT'S ACTUALLY THREE YEARS STRAIGHT THAT WE WERE SELECTED FOR THE LOW, THE LOW NOTE PROGRAM. SO KUDOS TO ROB, ROB, WHO WAS JUST UP, UH, HAD A BIG ROLE IN THAT OUR GRANTS, TEAM SHARMILA AND OUR PLANNING TEAM AND OUR, UH, AND OUR BOSS MAINTENANCE TEAM. SO ANOTHER GOOD EXAMPLE OF THE TEAM WORKING HARD TO WE'RE GOING TO GO AFTER EVERY SINGLE FEDERAL OPPORTUNITY WE CAN GET TO BRING FEDERAL MONEY BACK HERE TO CENTRAL TEXAS TO, UH, UH, PROPEL OUR, UH, GREAT TRANSIT PROGRAM FORWARD. SO WITH THAT CHAIR, I JUST WANT AGAIN, THANK THE STAFF THEY'VE BEEN, THEY'VE BEEN FANTASTIC. UH, WE'RE PUSHING THEM.
