THE STRUCTURE DID EXPERIENCE VANDALISM AND A FIRE OCCURRED. THE ENTIRE INTERIOR OF THE BUILDING HAS BEEN DESTROYED. WHEN THE FIRE OCCURRED, THE CITY DID BOARD AND SECURE THE STRUCTURE UPON INVESTIGATION OF THE FIRE DAMAGE. THE CITY'S ENGINEER DID SAY THAT THE WALLS OF THE STRUCTURE NEED TO BE SECURED, EMBRACED UPON CONTACT WITH HISTORICAL ONLY THE FACADE NEEDS TO STAY IN ORIGINAL CONDITION. THE INTERIOR CAN BE DEMOLISHED. AS OF RIGHT NOW, NO NEW PERMITS OR APPLICATIONS HAVE BEEN MADE WITH HISTORICAL REVIEW FOR BRACING OUR DEMO OF THE FIRE DAMAGE.
