WE ARE MEETING AS A BOARD OF DIRECTORS IN THE AUSTIN CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT AUSTIN CITY HALL, WHICH IS LOCATED AT 3 0 1 WEST SECOND STREET.

UH, WE HAVE A QUORUM OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS WITH ONE ABSENCE, AND THAT'S BOARD MEMBER RYAN ALTER AND I'LL RECOGNIZE STAFF.

GOOD MORNING, MR. PRESIDENT MADAM VICE PRESIDENT BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

MY NAME IS JAMIE MAY.

I'M THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER WITH THE HOUSING DEPARTMENT.

I AM HERE TODAY TO, UH, WALK YOU THROUGH YOUR AUSTIN HOUSING FINANCE CORPORATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS AGENDA FOR THIS MORNING.

UM, YOU, THERE ARE SEVERAL ITEMS ON THIS AGENDA, AS YOU'LL NOTE, UM, BUT WE'LL WALK THROUGH EACH, UH, RELATIVELY QUICKLY.

UH, FIRST IS THE APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM OCTOBER 5TH.

UH, SECOND IS THE AUTHORIZATION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH INDUSTRY A TX.

THEY WERE THE SELECTED APPLICANT IN A, UH, SOLICITATION TO IDENTIFY A DEVELOPMENT PARTNER FOR 59 0 1 DROWSY WILLOW TRAIL, UH, THAT IS EXPECTED TO YIELD APPROXIMATELY 30 TO 50 UNITS.

THIS WILL BE IN DISTRICT TWO, UH, DIRECTOR, UH, FUENTES.

THE, UH, THIRD ITEM IS TO RATIFY THE FIRST AMENDMENT, UH, TO THE CONTRACT WITH FAMILY ELDER CARE FOR PECAN UH GARDENS.

THIS IS THE HOTEL FORMERLY KNOWN AS CANDLEWOOD SUITES, LOCATED AT 1 0 8 1 1 PECAN PARK BOULEVARD.

UH, THIS WILL BE A, AN AMENDMENT TO ADD ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR THE REHABILITATION OF THAT PROPERTY AND TO EXTEND THE CONTRACT, UH, BEYOND THE EXPIRATION DATE.

WE DO EXPECT THAT PROPERTY TO BE, UH, OCCUPIED WITHIN THE FIRST, UH, UH, QUARTER, POSSIBLY THE SECOND QUARTER OF, UH, CALENDAR 2024.

UH, BUT THE SPRING IS OUR TARGET THAT WILL YIELD APPROXIMATELY 78, UH, PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING UNITS.

THIRD IS TO AUTHORIZE THE NEGOTIATION OF AN AMENDMENT, UH, TO OUR CONTRACT WITH INTEGRAL CARE FOR TEXAS BUNGALOWS.

THIS IS ANOTHER HOTEL CONVERSION PROJECT.

UH, THIS IS TO ALSO EXTEND THE TIME FOR THAT CONTRACT AND TO ADD APPROXIMATELY $400,000, UH, TO COMPLETE THE REHABILITATION.

THIS PROPERTY IS ALSO EXPECTED TO BE COMPLETED WITHIN THE FIRST QUARTER, OR AT LEAST SPRING OF 2024, AND IT WILL YIELD APPROXIMATELY 60 PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING UNITS.

BOTH OF THESE PROPERTIES DO HAVE VOUCHERS ATTACHED, SO AN OPERATING SUBSIDY HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED.

NEXT, UH, WE HAVE OUR, UH, WHAT IS KNOWN AS AD CAP OR ANTI DISPLACEMENT COMMUNITY ACQUISITION PROGRAM.

THIS IS A PROGRAM THAT IS FUNDED WITH PROJECT CONNECT FUNDS, AND WE WOULD LIKE TO MAKE AN AWARD FOR, UH, AUSTIN REVITALIZATION AUTHORITY TO, UH, PURCHASE 3 0 2 CARMEN COURT.

THIS IS A FOURPLEX, UH, LOCATED IN DISTRICT FOUR.

UH, COUNCIL MEMBER BELLA.

UH, THE, UH, UH, THIS FOURPLEX WILL BE PRESERVED AS LONG-TERM AFFORDABILITY, AND IT DOES HELP TO, UH, BUILD CAPACITY FOR AUSTIN REVITALIZATION AUTHORITY.

NEXT, WE HAVE WHAT IS KNOWN AS OUR RENTAL HOUSING DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS AND OWNERSHIP HOUSING DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS. UH, THE FIRST IN THIS PROJECT PROJECT IS A DEVELOPMENT WITH CAPITAL A HOUSING, UH, TO DEVELOP APPROXIMATELY 30 OWNERSHIP UNITS, UH, LOCATED AT 51 0 7 AND 51 0 9 LANCASTER BOULEVARD.

UH, ALSO IN DISTRICT FOUR IS, UH, TO APPROVE, UH, A PROJECT BY AUSTIN REVITALIZATION AUTHORITY FOR APPROXIMATELY FOUR UNITS OF OWNERSHIP HOUSING, UH, AT 7 2 1 0 CARTER AVENUE.

UH, ALSO, THESE, UH, UH, WILL BE AFFORDABLE BELOW 80% OF THE MEDIAN FAMILY INCOME, UH, FOR HOUSEHOLDS, UH, IN THE AUSTIN AREA.

NEXT, WE HAVE A, UH, A LOAN TO SGI VENTURES FOR KATY LOFTS.

THIS IS A PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1 0 0 4 EAST 39TH STREET, AND WE'LL DEVELOP 100 PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING UNITS.

ALSO, THAT IS IN DISTRICT NINE COUNCIL MARK RIE.

UH, NEXT WE HAVE A, AN AWARD FOR GENERAL, I'M SORRY, FOR, UH, GUADALUPE NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, UH, TO PURCHASE SEVEN ACRES OF LAND IN THE GUADALUPE SALDANA NE UH, NET ZERO NEIGHBORHOOD.

UH, THIS WILL YIELD APPROXIMATELY 51 OWNERSHIP HOUSING UNITS, AFFORDABLE BELOW 80% MFI ON THAT IS IN DISTRICT THREE.

NEXT WE HAVE AN AWARD FOR, UH, THE SAFE ALLIANCE, UH, TO CONSTRUCT A 60 UNIT PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT LOCATED AT 5 1 1 1 LANCASTER COURT.

THIS IS IN, UH, PARTNERSHIP WITH CAPITAL A FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THAT PROPERTY.

AND THEN FINALLY, TO AUTHORIZE THE NEGOTIATION AND EXECUTION OF A DEAL WITH, UH, SUMMER TREE DEVELOPMENT FOR 35 OWNERSHIP UNITS LOCATED AT, UH, 7 3 0 8 SOUTH CONGRESS AVENUE IN DISTRICT TWO.

UH, IN TOTAL, THIS WILL, UH, GENERATE APPROXIMATELY 300 PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING UNITS AND REPRESENTS AN INVESTMENT FOR, UH, OVER 120 OWNERSHIP HOUSING UNITS THROUGHOUT THE CITY.

I THINK IT'S A GREAT EXAMPLE OF, OF A WONDERFUL USE FROM OUR 2018 BOND DOLLARS, AND I KNOW IT IS VERY APPRECIATIVE IN MY COMMUNITY, UH, AND I'M JUST VERY PLEASED TO BE ABLE TO HAVE THE LARGEST COMMUNITY LAND TRUST IN THE HEART OF DISTRICT TWO.

JOHN'S HIGHLAND AREA AND IN THE WINDSOR PARK AREA.

IN PARTICULAR, THE SAFE ALLIANCE PROJECTS, WHICH WILL BE, UH, PROVIDE HOUSING FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE, UH, SURVIVORS OF, UH, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

UH, JUST VERY, UH, SEEING THAT PROJECT KIND OF MOVE FORWARD OVER MY TIME ON COUNCIL AND VERY HAPPY TO SEE, UH, FINAL ACTION ON IT AND, AND CAN'T WAIT TO SEE, UH, GROUNDBREAKING.
