BUT AT THE TIME, UM, THE POPULATION HERE IN AUSTIN WAS AT ITS MOST, AND HOUSING WAS LIMITED, AND YOU HAD GOOD CREDIT TO GET HOUSING. AND I DIDN'T HAVE THAT. SO I HAD TO COMMUTE FROM AUSTIN. I MEAN, SAN ANTONIO, SORRY, . UM, BUT WHAT I'M HERE TO TALK ABOUT IS THE BAND POOLING SERVICE THAT THAT IS OFFERED BY CAPITAL METRO. AND, AND WHAT I LEARNED WHEN I STARTED THE COMMUTE IS THAT THE COST WAS EXPENSIVE. I COULD BARELY MAKE MY MONTHLY OBLIGATION FOR MY RENT AND FOR FOOD. UM, WHEN I COMMUTED, THE COMMUTE TIME WAS OVER THREE HOURS. I COULD NOT GET THE SCHEDULING OF THE BUS TO GO WITH THE SCHEDULING OF MY WORK. IT TOOK FOREVER. I DIDN'T HAVE ANY TIME AT HOME WITH MY FAMILY OR MY KIDS. SOMETIMES I COULDN'T EVEN GET HOME AT ALL. I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR A HOTEL TO STAY OVERNIGHT. SORRY, . I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT I WAS GONNA DO. I WAS COMING INTO WORK LATE, ALMOST EVERY DAY, TRYING TO GO LEAVE EARLY TO GET LESS BUS, LESS BUS HOME. AND MY MANAGER ASKED ME WHAT WAS GOING ON AND I TOLD HER, AND SHE HAD A, SHE HAD AN ANSWER FOR ME, SURPRISINGLY. SHE TOLD ME ABOUT THE PRODUCT THAT YOU GUYS OFFERED, VAN POOLING. AND, UM, SHE ALSO TOLD ME THERE'S A PROGRAM THAT I COULD ENROLL INTO WHERE I COULD PROBABLY VAN PULL AND WON'T COST ME ANYTHING. AND SHE WAS RIGHT. AND WITHIN A FEW DAYS I BEGAN VAN POOLING. AND IT WAS GREAT. I WORKED AROUND MY SCHEDULE. I WAS COMING TO WORK ON TIME EVERY DAY. I WAS ABLE TO SPEND TIME WITH MY FAMILY. I WAS ABLE TO MAKE THE ENDS MEET. IT WAS GREAT FOR A FEW WEEKS AND THEN IT STOPPED. THE VAN PULLING WAS INCONSISTENT. SOMETIMES IT WOULDN'T OPERATE ON DAYS. I HAD TO GET TO WORK AT THE LAST MINUTE. I WOULD HAVE TO TRY TO FIND ALTERNATE TRANSPORTATION AND WAS EXPENSIVE. ATTENTION WAS HORRIBLE. PEOPLE DIDN'T TALK TO EACH OTHER ON VAN POOL. AND I WAS MAD. AND I WANTED TO KNOW WHAT WAS HAPPENING. SO I WROTE A LETTER [00:05:01] TO YOUR VENDOR, TO ME WITH ENTERPRISE. AND I ASKED THEM WHAT WAS GOING ON. I WANTED TO, I WANTED TO REASON WHAT WAS HAPPENING. WELL, SURPRISINGLY I DIDN'T HEAR BACK FROM THEM. BUT A WEEK LATER, IT DIDN'T MATTER. I ALREADY, I KNEW THEN THAT I WAS REMOVED FROM THE VAN POOL. I TRIED TO GET ON ANOTHER VAN POOL IMMEDIATELY, BUT TO COMMIT WITH ENTERPRISE MADE SURE THAT WAS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. AND WHAT I LEARNED THAT DAY WAS THAT DISCRIMINATION, CORRUPTION, SELFISHNESS, THOSE ITEMS DON'T NEED A REASON TO DESTROY. THEY JUST DO. SO I HOPE THAT NEXT TIME WHEN A PERSON FINDS THEMSELF IN THE SAME POSITION THAT I'M IN, THOSE THINGS DO NOT EXIST ANYMORE. SO THAT EIGHT TO FIVE I WAS GETTING, YOU KNOW, AND I ALWAYS, I ALWAYS SCHEDULED 30 MINUTES EARLY JUST IN CASE THERE'S TRAFFIC OR SOMETHING. BUT, SO I SAY I NEED TO GET THERE AT SEVEN 30 AND THEN DON'T PICK ME UP TILL FIVE 30 SO THERE'S TIME FOR ME IN CASE I'M HAVING TO WORK LATE OR SOMETHING. SO IT WAS SO BAD THOUGH, I WAS COMING IN AT NINE 30 MANY DAYS OF THE WEEK AND I WAS GONNA LOSE MY JOB. AND THEN GETTING HOME WAS EVEN WORSE. THEY WOULD MIGHT PICK ME UP AT FIVE 30, WHICH WAS FINE, BUT I WOULDN'T GET HOME TILL SEVEN 30. AND I WAS JUST EXHAUSTED 'CAUSE I ALREADY HAVE TO GET UP EARLY. AND IT JUST, YOU KNOW, AND I WAS LIKE, I GOTTA FIND A WAY. SO THE ONLY WAY I FOUND WAS I ASKED MY BOSS, I WAS LIKE, CAN I WORK SEVEN TO FOUR PLEASE? THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING. IT'S JUST INSANE. , THERE WAS ONE TIME IT WAS SO BAD, I WAITED TILL 10:00 PM TO GET PICKED UP BECAUSE MY HUSBAND WAS OUTTA TOWN OR ELSE HE WOULD'VE JUST COME DRIVEN AND GOT ME. BUT, AND MY SISTER COULDN'T GET ME 'CAUSE SHE WAS BUSY. SO I WAS JUST THERE AND IT WAS JUST, THEY KEPT SAYING, SOMEONE'S COMING, SOMEONE'S COMING. AND I WOULD CALL. AND THEN ANOTHER TIME I TRIED TO GET OVER WORK. THEY JUST, THEY SAID, YEAH, YOU'RE SCHEDULED. I'M LIKE, YEAH, I KNOW, I JUST GOT THE TEXT. BUT THEY NEVER CAME. WHILE DEVELOPING THIS PROPOSAL, STAFF ASSESSED EXISTING CAPACITY AND DEMAND BASED ON LEANDER VEHICLES AND DETERMINED THE CURRENT SERVICE CAN PROVIDE UP TO 60 ADDITIONAL TRIPS PER DAY. WITH THIS CAPACITY IN MIND, WE DEFINE 10 DISTINCT AREAS CONTIGUOUS TO THE CURRENT ZONE AND ESTIMATED CUSTOMER DEMAND FROM EACH DEFINED AREA. BY THE END OF THE CALENDAR YEAR, WE'LL BE AT ROUGHLY 25% OF OUR FLEET IN BATTERY ELECTRIC BUSES WITH 36% OF OUR CURRENTLY SCHEDULED ROUTE BLOCKS, ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE TODAY'S BATTERY ELECTRIC BUS TECHNOLOGY. PROBABLY ABOUT AS FAR AS WE WANT TO GO, UM, WITHOUT AN ADVANCE IN THE, UM, BATTERY TECHNOLOGY, WHICH I'M CONFIDENT THERE IS 8 MILLION REALLY SMART ENGINEERS SOMEWHERE IN THIS WORLD ALL WORKING ON BETTER BATTERY TECHNOLOGY, BUT IT'S NOT YET READY. UM, SO WE CONTINUE TO WANT TO, WE CONTINUE TO HAVE THE GOAL OF BEING NET ZERO CARBON EMISSIONS BY 2040, AND ANY CHANGES TO BUSES WE BUY IN THE NEXT FEW YEARS DOES NOT CHANGE THAT AT ALL. UM, AND ALSO TO REITERATE, OUR PROJECT CONNECT METRO RAPID SERVICE, WHICH IS CURRENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION, WILL ULTIMATELY STILL BE ALL ELECTRIC. SO THE INFRASTRUCTURE WE'RE PUTTING IN AT THE ENDS OF THOSE LINES WILL PROVIDE THE OPPORTUNITY CHARGING TO ALLOW US TO RUN THOSE BUSES ALL DAY. AND THIS IS WHERE THE CONCEPT OF TECHNOLOGY OF CHOICE COMES INTO PLAY. UM, UH, WE BELIEVE THAT THE BEST THING FOR US TO DO FOR OUR, OUR NEXT ROUND OF, OF REGULARLY CYCLED FLEET REPLACEMENTS IS TO BUY HYBRID ELECTRIC BUSES. UM, A HYBRID ELECTRIC BUS TODAY IS A BATTERY ELECTRIC BUS WITH ONE LESS BATTERY AND A LITTLE DIESEL GENERATOR TO GENERATE ELECTRICITY ON THE FLY SO THAT YOU CAN RUN IT ALL DAY. UM, WE ALSO WANT TO WORK THROUGH SOME OF THE OPERATIONAL QUESTIONS ABOUT HYDROGEN FUEL CELL BUSES. UM, WE HAVE AN OPEN GRANT WITH THE FTA THAT WE'RE WORKING TO BE ABLE TO USE TO PURCHASE FOR HYDROGEN FUEL CELL POWERED BUSES. AGAIN, THESE ARE THE SAME BATTERY ELECTRIC BUS PLATFORM WITH ONE LESS BATTERY AND A LITTLE FUEL CELL TO CREATE THE ELECTRICITY ON THE BUS AS YOU NEED IT. UM, AND THAT WILL REALLY GIVE US THE, THE, THE EXPERIENCE AND THE HANDS-ON OF THE FULL BREADTH OF OPTIONS. UM, AND, AND, AND THEN FRANKLY, WE'RE IN A BIT OF A WAITING GAME TO FIGURE OUT WHICH WILL COME FIRST, UM, A RELIABLE AND STABLE SOURCE OF, UM, CLEAN OR NEARLY CLEAN HYDROGEN OR A GREAT BATTERY THAT'S GONNA LET US RUN A BUS FOR LONGER THAN EIGHT OR NINE HOURS A DAY. SO NOW EVERYBODY NEEDS EVERYTHING AND SUPPLY AND DEMAND IS NOT IN OUR FAVOR. SO FOR US TO GET 26 VEHICLES IN 26, WE NEED TO ORDER THEM IN 24. SO WE DIDN'T WANT ANYONE TO BE SURPRISED. UM, WE DIDN'T WANNA GO OUT AND DO ALL THAT WORK, UM, TO GET THOSE READY TO GO UNTIL WE KNEW THAT EVERYONE UNDERSTOOD WHERE WE WERE HEADED. UM, ORIGINALLY, UH, WE WERE LOOKING AT BATTERY ELECTRIC BUSES AT JUST AROUND A MILLION DOLLARS AND THEY'RE GETTING LIKE 1,000,002 AND 1,000,003 MM-HMM, HYDROGEN BUS. UM, MOST RECENTLY, UM, I WAS LOOKING AT ABOUT 1.2, 1.3 MILLION FOR A HYDROGEN BUS, AND NOW THEY QUOTED 1.6 TO 1.7. SO THE TECHNOLOGY'S OUT THERE, THE TECHNOLOGY'S GETTING, UM, INCREASINGLY EXPENSIVE. BUT I, I WOULD COMPARE THAT TO GO TO A CAR LOT AND LOOK AT WHAT AN SUV OR A PICKUP TRUCK COSTS NOWADAYS. MM-HMM. AND I, I THINK YOU'RE SEEING THAT TREND IN THE INDUSTRY. I NEVER THOUGHT I'D SEE A 70 TO A HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS PICKUP TRUCK. MM-HMM. . BUT, UH, I THINK THAT'S WHAT WE'RE CONFRONTED WITH IN INDUSTRY. AND, UM, AND WITH REGARD TO THE, ABOUT 33%, A THIRD OR SO OF THE ROUTES WERE FOUND TO BE, UM, A MATCH FOR THE, UH, BATTERY ELECTRIC BUSES. UH, ANY SENSE OF OF OF THAT, I MEAN, WHICH ROUTES ARE, ARE THE BEST, I GUESS, FOR THE, UH, ELECTRIC BUSES FOR THE, YOU KNOW, THE ONES THAT WE HAVE NOW TO BE ABLE TO DEPLOY? WELL, THERE WAS AN AECOM STUDY THAT DETERMINED THOSE BLOCKS WOULD BE THE, THE BEST FIT. WE ARE CURRENTLY, UH, TRYING SOME OF THE NEWER BUSES ON SOME OF THOSE BLOCKS TO GET CONCURRENCE ON THE DATA. MM-HMM, , UM, IT, THERE'S A LOT OF FACTORS, TOPOGRAPHY, TEMPERATURE DRIVER THAT, THAT DETERMINE THE VIABILITY OF A BUS. BUT WE THINK THAT SMALLER SECTION, 36%, WE ARE PRETTY CONFIDENT WE CAN RUN OPERATE ELECTRIC BUSES ON THERE. ANYTHING BEYOND THAT'S GONNA TAKE EITHER ADDITIONAL CHARGING INFRASTRUCTURE TO BE CONSTRUCTED OR BIGGER BATTERY PACKS OR SOMETHING THAT'S NOT IN THE MARKET YET. AND SO WE'RE, WE'RE JUST CONTINUING TO MONITOR THAT SO THAT THERE, THERE ISN'T A PARTICULAR ROUTE THAT THAT DOMINATES THAT 36%. IT'S REALLY MORE ABOUT HOW LONG THAT BUS IS SCHEDULED TO BE ON THE STREET FOR THE MOST PART. I MEAN, WITH, WITH ALL OF THE CAVEATS OF TOPO TOPOGRAPHY AND WEATHER AND ALL OF THAT, UM, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF OUR ROUTES HAS BUSES THAT ARE OUT THERE FOR SMALLER TIMES VERSUS, YOU KNOW, LONGER TIMES. UM, AND SO IT'S REALLY A COUPLE OF BUSES FROM ALL OF THE ROUTES THAT MAKE UP THAT 36% BASED ON HOW THEY GET SCHEDULED. IN ORDER FOR US TO SCHEDULE MORE BUSES TO ACCOMMODATE BATTERY ELECTRIC VEHICLES, WE WOULD HAVE TO HAVE MORE VEHICLES AND WE WOULD, WE WOULD RUN MUCH LESS EFFICIENTLY FROM AN OPERATING STANDPOINT TO CUT THOSE INTO SMALLER PIECES. WELL, UH, JUST A COMMENT, AND I'M SUPPORTIVE OF A PAUSE. I MEAN, WE'VE ALREADY GOT ABOUT A, A QUARTER OF OUR FLEET, UH, AS A BATTERY ELECTRIC BUSES. UH, IT'S A GOOD TIME TO, I THINK, TO PAUSE AND KIND OF DIGEST THOSE, UH, PURCHASES AND, AND WORK THEM INTO THE SYSTEM. UH, AND AGAIN, ULTIMATELY I THINK, UH, RELIABILITY, UH, IS THE NUMBER ONE, UH, UH, ISSUE. AND, UH, AND, AND IF, UH, I THINK I WOULD BE SUPPORTIVE OF KIND OF, LIKE I SAID, PAUSING AND DIGESTING OUR, OUR ELECTRIC, UH, BUS PURCHASES. UH, MAKING SURE THAT, THAT THEY DON'T, THAT, THAT WE DON'T WANT TO, YOU KNOW, HURT RELIABILITY AT ALL BY GOING IN TOO STRONG ON, UH, THE ELECTRIC BUSES IN ADVANCE. SO, UH, APPRECIATE THE PRESENTATION AND UNDERSTAND WHERE WE'RE BOARD MEMBERS, UM, BOARD MEMBER BENGAL DOTIE. DO WE HAVE, WILL WE HAVE THE FLEET OF ELECTRIC BUSES READY FOR THESE TWO RAPID LINES WITH THE SUPPLY ISSUES THAT WE'RE ALL TALKING ABOUT? SO WE ARE RECEIVING A LARGE NUMBER OF BATTERY ELECTRIC BUSES. IN FACT, THE CONTRACT THAT YOU, THOSE BOARD JUST APPROVED TO DO EMERGENCY, UM, STORAGE AND, UM, IS BECAUSE WE'RE RECEIVING BETWEEN NOW AND THE END OF THE CALENDAR YEAR, ROUGHLY 80 BUSES, UM, WHICH IS A LOT. AND THEY, THESE BUSES TAKE A LITTLE BIT MORE OOMPH TO GET IN PROCESSED AND, AND, AND SHUFFLE THROUGH. UM, WE EX THE, THE HARDER PART, UH, IS NOT THE BUS. THE HARDEST PART OF A BATTERY ELECTRIC BUS TURNS OUT TO BE ITS INFRASTRUCTURE. UM, SO HAVING THE CHARGING INFRASTRUCTURE ON THE YARDS, WE HAVE, UM, ANY DAY NOW WE'LL BE GOING UNDER CONSTRUCTION OUT HERE, UM, [01:10:01] TO INSTALL INFRASTRUCTURE ON THE, THE, FOR BATTERIES, ELECTRIC BUS CHARGING AT THIS FACILITY. WE ALREADY HAVE SOME CHARGING INFRASTRUCTURE, BUT ARE UPGRADING THAT AT OUR NORTH OPERATIONS FACILITY. UM, I THINK OUR ABILITY TO FULLY UTILIZE ALL 80 OF THOSE BUSES MOST FULLY WILL BE DE MOSTLY DEPENDENT ON INFRASTRUCTURE. UM, THAT WE ARE THOUGH, AS WE RECEIVE THESE BUSES, NOT GOING TO DELAY SERVICE IMPLEMENTATIONS BECAUSE OF BATTERY ELECTRIC BUSES. SO WE'RE WORKING THROUGH THE PLANS NOW, UM, BUT IN COMING MONTHS, WE'LL, WE'LL COME TALK THROUGH THE OPPORTUNITIES TO BE ABLE TO OPERATE THE ADDITIONAL SERVICES THAT WE'RE HOPING TO OPERATE SOONER WITH A MIX OF ELECTRIC AND DIESEL BUSES NOW THAT WE HAVE THE, NOW THAT WE'RE RECEIVING THE ADDITIONAL FLEET TO BE ABLE TO SUPPORT THAT. GREAT. UM, AND THEN WE'RE NOT ALONE IN THIS. I MEAN, OTHER CITIES ARE FACING THESE SAME CHALLENGES. I KNOW THAT, UH, THE CITY OF SEATTLE IS TRYING TO ELECTRIFY THEIR ENTIRE FLEET. THEY'VE HAD A NUMBER OF ISSUES, SAME ISSUES Y'ALL ARE TALKING ABOUT. SO I ALSO SUPPORT THIS DECISION. I SUPPORT YOUR VARIETY OF SOLUTIONS. UM, AND I THINK WE JUST WOULD LIKE TO KEEP UPDATED AS WE GO THROUGH THIS AND FIND OUT MORE, OR REMEMBER, APPRECIATE THE CONVERSATION TODAY. ARE WE BETTER? I THINK WE'RE BETTER NOW. UM, DO YOU KNOW IF THERE ARE, UM, PROJECTS UNDERWAY TO LOOK AT ALL THESE DIFFERENT TECHNOLOGIES AND HOW THEY INTERPLAY WITH DIFFERENT AIR QUALITY ISSUES? I KNOW THE EPA IS LOWERING THEIR PARTICULATE MATTER STANDARDS, AND SO AS WE SEE THAT PLAY OUT OVER THE NEXT FEW YEARS, UM, WHAT KIND OF CONVERSATION IS HAPPENING AT A NATIONAL LEVEL IF ALL THESE CITIES REALLY ARE LOOKING AT DIFFERENT BUS TECHNOLOGIES AND HOW DO WE MAKE SURE THAT WE'RE NOT INVESTING IN TECHNOLOGY THAT WILL NOT SERVE THE PURPOSE OF BETTER AIR QUALITY AS WE MOVE FORWARD THROUGH THIS? IS IS THERE SOMETHING HAPPENING ON THE NATIONAL LEVEL? YES. THERE'S, UM, UH, RECENTLY THE SPRING THERE WAS A $7 BILLION FEDERAL INVESTMENT IN THE HYDROGEN HUBS. AND THOSE HYDROGEN HUBS ARE LOCATED THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY. WE HAVE ONE HERE IN HOUSTON, HIGH VELOCITY. UH, THEY'RE LOOKING FOR SOLUTIONS FOR GREEN HYDROGEN AND GETTING HYDROGEN TO MARKET. WE'RE FORTUNATE TO BE HERE IN TEXAS WHERE THERE'S A LOT OF, UH, HYDROGEN AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET. UM, AT SOME POINT THERE'S GONNA BE A TRANSITION FROM THE, THE GRAY HYDROGEN, WHICH IS ZERO TAILPIPE, BUT THERE'S HYDRO, THERE'S CARBON IN THE, THE SUPPLY CHAIN, UH, WITH GREEN HYDROGEN. IT'S ALL FROM WHEEL TO WELL, WELL, WELL TO WHEEL WILL BE GREEN. AND I THINK THAT'S HAPPENING WITH THAT, THAT $7 BILLION INVESTMENT. THERE'S A LOT OF RESEARCH GOING ON IN THIS AREA. A LOT OF THE AGENCIES THAT, UH, YOU ALLUDED TO, UH, THEY'RE DOING HYDROGEN, YOU KNOW, FOOTHILL TRANSIT, UH, ORANGE COUNTY, UH, TRANSIT, UM, UH, AC TRANSIT IN OAKLAND. THEY'RE ALL MAKING THAT SAME PIVOT. THEY HAVE BATTERY ELECTRIC BUSES. THEY HAVE A NUMBER OF THEM, BUT THEY'RE, THEY'RE THAT 20, 30 ELECTRIC BUSES. NOW THEY'RE GOING TO A HYDROGEN PLATFORM. UM, I THINK WHAT HYBRID DOES IS GIVES US A BRIDGE. WE'RE OPERATING WITH ELECTRIC VEHICLES. SO THE TECHNOLOGY IS VERY SIMILAR. WE'RE ABLE TO OPERATE THOSE RELIABLY, INDEPENDENTLY IN THIS GAP. AND THEN IF HYDROGEN PROVES OUT TO BE, UM, RELIABLE, DEPENDABLE, AND IT'S GREEN AT THE TAILPIPE AND IF THE, THE HUBS SUCCEED IN WHAT THEY'RE SET TO ACCOMPLISH AND, AND HELP BRING THAT PRICE DOWN TO WHERE IT'S A MARKET PRICE AND IT'S SOMETHING THAT WE CAN AFFORD. AND I THINK THAT'S WHEN WE START MAKING THAT, THAT, THAT TRANSITION THERE. OKAY. SOUNDS GOOD. UH, MEETINGS INCLUDED BRIEFINGS WITH CONGRESSIONAL MEMBERS AND A PRODUCTIVE SESSION AT THE DEPARTMENT IN TRANSPORTATION, UM, WHERE WE MET WITH OFFICIALS FROM THE DOT, THIS, UH, OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY, PETE BUTTIGIEG, THE FDA, THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION, THE FEDERAL HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION, AND THE BUILD AMERICA BUREAU. UM, WE ALSO HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET WITH OFFICIALS FROM THE JOINT OFFICE OF ENERGY AND TRANSPORTATION. UM, THIS IS A RELATIVELY NEW JOINT OFFICE CREATED BY THE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION A FEW YEARS AGO TO BRING TOGETHER THE EXPERTISE FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY WITH THE EXPERTISE FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO DEAL WITH EXACTLY WHAT WE WERE JUST TALKING ABOUT. THE ISSUES OF TRYING TO USE ELECTRICITY TO RUN OUR TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS. UM, WE HAD A GREAT, UM, CONVERSATION WITH THAT JOINT OFFICE IN, IN HELPING THEM UNDERSTAND THE ON THE GROUND PR PRACTICAL REALITIES OF A TRANSIT AGENCY AND WHAT HOPEFULLY THE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION, UM, AND FUTURE ADMINISTRATIONS CAN DO TO HELP, UM, SOLVE SOME OF THOSE PROBLEMS FOR US. UM, ADDITIONALLY WE ENJOYED THE HISTORIC CONGRESSIONAL BASEBALL GAME AND HAD THE JOY OF WATCHING OUR OWN CONGRESSMAN CASSAR STEAL SEVERAL BASES AND EVEN MAKE A FEW RUNS, UM, AND OTHER MEMBERS OF OUR DELEGATION TAKE THE FIELD.
