UH, YEAR TO DATE, WHEN YOU LOOK AT, ON A FISCAL YEAR BASIS, THE FIRST THREE MONTHS OF THE YEAR, PARKING TRANSACTIONS ARE DOWN ABOUT 4%, BUT AS YOU CAN SEE, REVENUE IS UP ABOUT 1.5% BECAUSE OF THE RATE INCREASE THAT WE HAD INSTITUTED MIDDLE OF LAST YEAR.
UH, GROUND TRANSPORTATION REVENUE DID REALLY WELL.
UH, WE'VE SEEN A BIG INCREASE IN, UH, TNC TRIPS IN THE MONTH OF DECEMBER.
IT WAS UP ABOUT 19%, UM, WHICH IS JUST PHENOMENAL.
AND, UM, BUT FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR, WHEN YOU, WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE TNC TRIPS, IT WAS UP 9% YEAR OVER YEAR, 24 VERSUS 23.
UH, SO THAT REVENUE DID REALLY WELL.
UH, IN THE MONTH OF DECEMBER, UH, THE RENTAL CARS ARE DOING PRETTY WELL AT 4% AND YOU CAN SEE THE OTHER NON AIRLINE REVENUES ARE ALL UP YEAR OVER YEAR.
SO NON AIRLINE REVENUES ARE UP ABOUT 8.6% AND OPERATING REVENUES ARE UP 15%.
AND YEAR TO DATE, WE ARE UP 10% ON THE OPERATING EXPENSE SIDE.
UH, THIS WAS A, UH, JUST A VERY NORMAL MONTH IN TERMS OF HOW WE BUDGETED.
UH, THE EXPENSES ARE UP ABOUT 12% AND YEAR TO DATE, THEY'RE UP ABOUT 9% AND THEY'RE TRACKING VERY CLOSELY WITH WHAT WE BUDGETED.
UH, SO, SO FAR WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE AIRPORT OPERATING EXPENSES, WE ARE ABOUT 600,000 FAVORABLE YEAR TO DATE.

SO I'M GONNA WALK US THROUGH WHAT THOSE BUSY DAYS LOOKED LIKE, OUR RESPONSE, OUR EFFORTS, AND WHAT WE, UM, ARE PLANNING FOR FOR THIS YEAR.
SO, AS I SAID, IT WAS OUR SECOND BUSIEST YEAR EVER.
IN AN AVERAGE DAY, WE SAW ANYWHERE FROM 27,000 TO ABOUT 30,000 DEPARTING TRAVELERS.
HOWEVER, HOLIDAYS, SPECIAL EVENTS, THOSE BRING IN SIGNIFICANTLY MORE DEPARTING TRAVELERS.
AND SO THOSE BUSY DAYS REALLY LOOKED LIKE 35,000 ALL THE WAY TO MORE THAN 40,000 PEOPLE FLYING OUT AND GETTING SCREENED THROUGH THOSE TSA CHECKPOINTS.
OUR BUSIEST DAY OF THE YEAR, AND NOW BUSIEST DAY ON RECORD WAS THE MONDAY AFTER F1 WITH JUST OVER 44,000 PEOPLE SCREENED BY TSA.
AND THIS YEAR, UH, OR SORRY, LAST YEAR, 2024, THE MONDAY AFTER F1 WAS A LITTLE DIFFERENT FOR US THAN WHAT WE'RE USED TO BECAUSE IT WAS ALSO THE MONDAY AFTER A BIG HOME UT FOOTBALL GAME.

THE, THE MONDAY AFTER F1, CERTAINLY LAST YEAR, UM, DOES HOLD THE RECORD.
UM, AND WE SEE THAT THE TOP THREE BUSIEST DAYS IN HISTORY ARE ALL THAT MONDAY AFTER F1.
BUT INTERESTINGLY ENOUGH, 2024 ALSO BROUGHT US RECORD BREAKING, UH, PASSENGER VOLUMES THE THURSDAY AFTER THE TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE.
WE SAW A LOT OF TRAVELERS LEAVING THE AUSTIN AND CENTRAL TEXAS AREA THAT THURSDAY AND THEN THE SUNDAY AFTER THE F1 RACE DAY.
USUALLY THAT SUNDAY ISN'T QUITE SO BUSY BECAUSE THAT OF COURSE IS WHEN THE RACE IS HAPPENING.
BUT TWO THINGS WERE DIFFERENT LAST YEAR.
UM, THAT WAS THE IMMEDIATE DAY AFTER THE UT FOOTBALL GAME, AND THEN DIFFERENT FROM YEARS PAST FORMULA ONE DID NOT HOST A LARGE CONCERT, UM, THE SUNDAY NIGHT.
SO THAT IS WHY THAT SUNDAY ENDED UP BEING A BIT BUSIER THAN WHAT WE'RE USED TO.

THAT IS GOING BACK TO THE HISTORICAL 5% TREND THAT WE'VE SEEN SINCE, YOU KNOW, THE BARBARA JORDAN TERMINAL HAS OPENED.
SO WE DO HAVE, UM, SOME MODELS, UM, THAT WE ARE LOOKING AT ON, AND THAT'S, THAT'S HOW RIGHT, CURRENTLY WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE 10 YEAR FORECAST, THAT'S HOW WE HAVE MODELED IT.

IF YOU LOOK AT COMING OUT OF LIKE 2010, YOU KNOW, AFTER THE GREAT RECESSION, IT REALLY JUST TOOK OFF, RIGHT? AND YOU CAN GO BACK TO 2002 AFTER THE DOTCOM BUBBLE.
UM, WE WERE SORT OF FLAT FOR THE FIRST THREE YEARS, AND THEN WE STARTED GOING UP.
THEN YOU HAD THE GREAT RECESSION HIT, THEN IT TOOK OFF REALLY HIGH, IT WAS SEVEN TO 8%.
SO I, I, IT'S A MARKET THAT IS KIND OF HARD TO PREDICT BECAUSE OF THAT, BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE THESE SURGES IN GROWTH COME FROM, AND SOMETIMES THEY DO.
UH, SO ALL WE CAN DO IS KIND OF NORMALIZE THAT.
WE KNOW HISTORICALLY SINCE THE BJT OPENED, IT'S BEEN 5% 99, THAT'S A 25 YEAR, UH, COMPOUNDED ANNUAL GROWTH RATE.
SO WE KNOW THAT'S SORT OF THE NORMAL GROWTH RATE THAT WE'VE SEEN SO FAR.
