UM, I KNOW SEVERAL OF YOU MET BETWEEN OUR LAST MEETING AND THIS MEETING TO MAKE SURE THAT WE GET OUR BUDGET RECOMMENDATIONS. AND I JUST WANTED TO SAY I REALLY APPRECIATE ALL OF YOUR EXTRA WORK AND YOUR TIME COMMITMENT TO OUR COMMITTEE. UM, COMMISSIONER KELLY, WOULD YOU LIKE TO TAKE OVER? YEAH, SURE. THANK YOU. YEAH, SURE. I'LL, I'LL DISCUSS WHAT WE, UH, PUT TOGETHER. SO, UH, THE TWO RECOMMENDATIONS WE HAVE ARE ESSENTIALLY IN LINE WITH WHAT WE DISCUSSED AT THE LAST MEETING. SO THE FIRST ONE IS TO RECOGNIZE AND CELEBRATE INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES. THIS WAS, UH, COMMISSIONER ARIANOS, UH, IDEA AND WE PUT IT INTO WRITING HERE. SO, UM, BASICALLY THE, UH, YOU, YOU MAY HAVE A DRAFT, BUT BASICALLY THE RECOMMENDATION IS TO ALLOCATE FUNDS TOWARDS SUPPORTING OR ATTENDING, UH, EVENTS FOR GLOBAL ACCESSIBILITY AWARENESS DAY. UH, THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE A DA, UH, NATIONAL DISABILITY EMPLOYMENT AWARENESS MONTH AND THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PERSONS WITH DIS DISABIL. SO THESE KIND OF FALL ALL ACROSS, UH, THE CALENDAR. AND THEN ON THE, UH, SECOND ONE THAT WAS THE MICRO MOBILITY DEVICES. SO THIS IS THE ONGOING CONVERSATIONS WE'VE HAD ABOUT SCOOTERS AND WALKWAYS. AND SO THIS IS ENCOURAGING THE CITY TO ALLOCATE FUNDS TO DEVELOP SIGNAGE AND ENFORCE THE, UH, SECTION OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES THAT REQUIRES SCOOTERS TO BE PARKED APPROPRIATELY. OKAY. THAT BRINGS US TO OUR DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS. UH, [3. Approve a Budget Recommendation to Council regarding Micromobility Devices Impeding Public Walkways.] AGENDA ITEM NUMBER THREE, APPROVE A BUDGET RECOMMENDATION TO THE COUNCIL REGARDING MICRO MOBILITY DEVICES IMPEDING PUBLIC WALKWAYS. AND, UM, I AM EXCITED TO, I FEEL LIKE THIS IS A, A [00:05:01] STEP BACK IN THAT DIRECTION AND I'M EXCITED THAT WE ARE CONSIDERING THIS RE THAT WE ARE CONSIDERING THIS RECOMMENDATION.
