THE LAST ITEM HAS BEEN WITHDRAWN TO ENSURE WE ARE IN COMPLIANCE WITH NEWLY, UH, PASSED STATE LAW.
UH, THE FIRST ITEM IS THE APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM THE APRIL 10TH BOARD MEETING.
THE SECOND ITEM IS TO APPROVE PAYMENT, UH, FOR THE GROVE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT.
THIS IS 32 AFFORDABLE RENTAL UNITS, UH, FOR HOUSEHOLDS WHO INC, WHOSE INCOMES ARE AT OR BELOW 60% OF THE MEDIAN FAMILY INCOME.
UH, THIS IS AN AGREEMENT THAT WAS SIGNED.
UH, WE HAVE THE CASH READY TO PAY.
UH, WE JUST NEED APPROVAL FROM YOU.
AND FINALLY, UH, THIS, WE'D LIKE TO APPROVE A CONSTRUCT FOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE DORIS HATHAWAY AFFORDABLE RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT LOCATED AT 8 4 0 4 HATHAWAY DRIVE.
UH, THIS WOULD BE WITH CONSTRUCT PLE IN THE AMOUNT OF $747,000, UH, FOR THE TOTAL, UH, CONTRACT AWARD OF $822,000, UH, TO BUILD THE UNITS, UH, THAT WILL BE PART OF THE COMMUNITY LAND TRUST ON THAT PROPERTY.
I'D OFFER ALL THREE OF THESE ON CONSENT BOARD MEMBERS.

IN 2016 WHEN CAPITOL METRO CREATED THE 52 BUS ROUTE CHANGES, RUSS CHISHOLM, WHO WAS THE CONSULTANT, DID NOT RECOMMEND ROUTE 3 45.
UNLESS THE GROVE WAS EXTENDED TODAY, THAT ROUTE ACTUALLY WAS IMPROVED.
IT RUNS EVERY 30 MINUTES, BUT I WANNA REMIND YOU THAT OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS AT COMMUNITY FIRST VILLAGE WAITS 60 MINUTES IN THEIR WHEELCHAIRS.
AND SO WHILE I CERTAINLY APPRECIATE THAT YOU'RE GOING TO PUT SOME LOW INCOME HOUSING IN THAT AREA, I WOULD ASK YOU TO GET THE STAFF TO PROVIDE A MAP OVERLAY WHEN YOU SEE THESE PROJECTS SO THAT YOU CAN ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND WHERE THE 30% AREA MEDIAN INCOME UNITS ARE.
I DON'T THINK YOU ARE PUTTING VERY MANY, IF ANY, WEST AUSTIN.
I DO WANT TO REMIND YOU THAT, UH, RES SPARROW, RUTLAND, 1934 RUTLAND DRIVE, THAT IS WHERE YOU HAVE 101 OUTTA 171 UNITS FOR 30% AREA MEDIAN INCOME.
100 OF THOSE ARE VOUCHER HOLDERS.
MANDY DE MAYO TOLD US IT WOULD BE ABOUT 50 KXAN REPORTED THE 50, AND THEN THERE WAS A BAIT AND SWITCH, AND WE ENDED UP WITH 101 BECAUSE HAKA GAVE SOME VOUCHERS AND THE CITY GAVE SOME.
SO IT IS DEEPLY DISTURBING THAT THE BUSES ARE RUNNING EMPTY IN THAT AREA, WHEREAS BLACK PEOPLE ARE WAITING 60 MINUTES FOR THE BUS, 10 TIMES LONGER THAN WHITE PEOPLE IN NORTHEAST AUSTIN COLONY PARK.
