4. Discussion and possible action on a jurisdictional determination regarding the Chair’s initial decision that the Commission lacks jurisdiction over City Code Section 2-3-5 (Powers and Duties) and lacks jurisdiction over a complaint alleging a violation of Section 2-7-62 (Standards of Conduct), by a City employee in the position held by the Respondent, as alleged in the complaint filed on June 6, 2025, by Andrew Rivera against Lauren Elisabeth Middleton-Pratt.
5. Discussion and possible action on a jurisdictional determination regarding the Chair’s initial decision that the Commission lacks jurisdiction over City Code Section 2-3-5 (Powers and Duties) and lacks jurisdiction over a complaint alleging violations of Section 2-7-62 (Standards of Conduct) and 2-7-63 (Prohibition on Conflict of Interest), by a City employee in the position held by the Respondent, as alleged in the complaint filed on August 18, 2025, by Andrew Rivera against Meagan Hilburn-Herndon.
1. Approve the minutes of the Ethics Review Commission Special meeting on July 30, 2025.
6. Discussion on Commission authority to bring forth complaints: Review of relevant bylaws and open discussion on whether the ERC wants to initiate this practice in future meetings
7. Discussion and possible action regarding the necessity of continuing the Working Group to Prepare Calendar of Commission Duties and Responsibilities.
