Staff recommendation is the most qualified firm out of 5 firms evaluated through the City's qualification-based selection process. Approve a resolution supporting as part of the City’s legislative agenda for the 2011 session of the Texas State Legislature an amendment to Vernon’s Civil Statutes, Title 109, Article 6243n to provide a separate tier of benefits under the City of Austin Employees’ Retirement System for future employees only, and directing the City Manager to investigate and recommend additional changes to Article 6243n that may be included as part of the City’s legislative agenda for the 2011 session of the Texas State Legislature.
