2012 Bond Election overview Austin City Council has appointed a Bond Election Advisory Task Force to identify and prioritize bond projects for a November 2012 vote that will further the Imagine Austin Comprehensive Plan. In May, the Task Force will make recommendations to the City Council for bond funded projects in four areas: Affordable Housing, City Facilities, Parks and Open Space, and Transportation and Mobility.

Affordable Housing Bonds. Overview of how the $55 million in affordable housing bonds that voters approved in 2006 were spent, and the case for approving more bonds for affordable housing in 2012.

Overview of Project Connect. This partnership between the City of Austin, Capital Metro, Lone Star Rail, CAMPO and the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority, promotes regional cooperation toward high-capacity transit throughout Central Texas.
