Bylaw Changes Related to Membership on CAN Board of Directors (Action – Approve Asian and Hispanic Chambers of Commerce and Huston-Tillotson University as CAN Partners; Reduce Community Council seats on Board from 3 to 2.)
Recommended Focus Areas for CAN (Action – 1) Endorse the Travis County Early Childhood Stakeholders Plan, and 2) Endorse creation of a medical school in Austin/Travis County)
Committee and Implementation Team Reports - Regional Housing Stakeholder Work Group (Action – Dissolve Regional Housing Stakeholder Work Group) - Cultural Competency, Diversity and Inclusion (Action-Convene 1) a Special Leadership Meeting of the Board to discuss how partners are working to promote values of cultural competency, diversity and inclusion in their organizations and 2) a Cultural Competency, Diversity & Inclusion Work Group to prepare and followup on the leadership meeting and identify training opportunities and resources for on-line toolkit.)
