REVIEW OF PERMITS IN NATIONAL REGISTER HISTORIC DISTRICTS 1. NRD-2012-0074 3102 Oakmont Boulevard (Old West Austin) Proposal: Relocate existing 960 sq. ft. house and construct a new 2,787 sq. ft. house. Applicant: Andy Williams, Moon River Homes City Staff: Alyson McGee, Historic Preservation Office, 974-7801 Staff Recommendation: Release the relocation and building permit with the recommendation that the applicant consider revisions to the design to be more compatible with the character of the District
NRD-2012-0093 416 E. 6th Street Proposal: Extend the rooftop deck and construct a new metal guardrail at the front parapet. Applicant: Steve Simon and Afshin Mohammdzadeh City Staff: Steve Sadowsky, Historic Preservation Office, 974-6454 Staff Recommendation: Deny the application and request that the applicant consider moving the rooftop air conditioning unit to improve the appearance of the building.
