Presentation of the 2-1-1 Health Connect campaign. The 2-1-1 Health Connect campaign is a public information awareness campaign funded by Central Health to encourage Travis County residents to obtain health coverage through the federal insurance marketplace. The campaign also includes targeted outreach to the Austin music community and to food and restaurant workers.
Discussion and possible action of Amendment to Section 9-2-3(A)(2): “Make noise or play musical instrument audible to an adjacent business or residence between 10:30pm and 7:00am.” Review existing City of Austin regulations that apply to the act of busking.
Discussion and possible action of transitioning the annual Outdoor Music Venue Permit to two years.
Discussion and possible action of: a) Austin Music Foundation obtaining a micro-loan from the Music Venue Assistance Program as described in Resolution 20130822-016; b) Creating an exception to the rule that states loan funds are to be solely used for sound mitigation purposes.
