Cesar Chavez Street Staff Recommendation: Recommended. Committee Recommendation: On September 10, 2012 the Navigation Committee voted 3-0 to recommend approval with updated site plan drawings that specify exact dock distances from shore. Recommend to Council to approve waiving the requirements of the City’s policy related to concessions on parkland, adopted by Council Resolution No. 980312-025, to authorize incorporation of concession services under the License Agreement with American Youth Hostels, Inc., d/b/a Hostelling International-USA (“HI-USA”) at 2200 S. Lakeshore Drive.
Recommended to Council to approve an agreement between the Parks and Recreation Department and the West Austin Youth Association for Parkland Improvement and Land Use at Lamar Beach in Town Lake Metropolitan Park, 1200 West Cesar Chavez Street.
Recommend to Council to approve the proposed Parkland Improvement Management and Operations Agreement with the Norwood Park Foundation for the renovation of the Norwood House and grounds; and management of the facility.
