CITIZEN COMMUNICATION The first 10 speakers signed up prior to the meeting being called to order, will each be allotted three minutes to address their concerns regarding items not posted on the agenda.
NEW BUSINESS: DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ITEMS Non-consent Select members to serve as the chair of the Contracts and Concessions Committee and the chair of the Land Facilities and Programs Committee.
Make a recommendation to City Council to adopt the Walter E. Long Metropolitan Park Master Plan. Presenter: Greg Montes, Park Development Coordinator, Austin Parks and Recreation Department
Make a recommendation to City Council regarding the superiority of the Austin Green Planned Unit Development and Municipal Utility District as it pertains to parkland. Presenter: Thomas Rowlinson, Senior Planner, Austin Parks and Recreation Department
Discussion and possible action regarding creating a working group to explore alternative revenue ideas.
Approve Parks and Recreation Board Recommendation 20190625-07 regarding the renaming of the Indiangrass Wildlife Sanctuary to the Louis René Barrera Indiangrass Wildlife Sanctuary.
Discussion regarding the staff email in response to the citizen communication about Barton Creek dam safety issues.
