STAFF BRIEFINGS Presentation: Austin Human Resources staff – Briefing on the role of the MCPD in the interview and selection process of Chief Equity Officer.
NEW BUSINESS: For discussion and possible action Action Item: Brian Owens, MCPD Chair – Call for nominations and selection of MCPD Commissioner to serve on Interview Panel for Chief Equity Officer.
Presentation: Janee Briesmiester, Chair, Commission on Seniors – Discussion of Age Friendly City Action Plan. MCPD Commissioners may discuss taking action to support the plan.
MCPD Committee Reports: For discussion and possible action i. Access and Public Policy Committee ii. Awards and Outreach Committee iii. Employment and Education Committee
Discussion and Action Item: Brian Owens, MCPD Chair – Budget reallocation process and recommendations. Action items may include motions to approve various committee resource allocations, including but not limited to, Business of Work Seminar, Disability Mentoring Day Committee meetings, Employment Awards.
