APPROVAL OF MINUTES Consider approval of the minutes from the Human Rights Commission’s October 28, 2013 regular meeting.
NEW BUSINESS a. Discussion and possible action on a resolution presented by Mr. Richard Franklin related to a recommendation to city council to fund the Youth Unlimited Motivational 2 Mentoring Program, a program to empower young men to improve their lives by providing tools to build self-esteem and confidence, develop positive peer relationships and incorporate the team concept in all activities.

Discussion and possible action on recommendations to the City Council related to the presentation by Nelson Linder, President, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Austin Branch, and resolutions proposed by Mr. Linder related to disparities in Austin’s African American Communities and additional oversight over the Austin Police Department by City Council and the City Manager.
