ITEMS FOR COMMISSION’S REVIEW AND RECOMMENDATION FOR APPROVAL TO CITY COUNCIL 1. Recommend approval to negotiate and execute an Interlocal Agreement between the City of Austin (City) and Travis County (County) for the design of approximately 8,800 LF of 12- inch and 16-inch waterlines with the County Consultant (Jacobs) in Cameron Road. The proposed waterlines are to be designed in association with the County’s Cameron Roadway Widening Project from Gregg Lane to SH 130 for roadway improvements within Cameron Road. The Contract amount for the design of waterlines is $120,242, plus a 10% contingency for a total of $132,266. 2. Recommend approval to execute a construction contract with PIATRA, INC., for the Walnut Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant Southern Security Fence project in the amount of $96,985 plus a $4,850 contingency, for a total contract amount not to exceed $101,835.
3. Recommend approval to execute a construction contract with INSITUFORM TECHNOLOGIES, LLC for the Rehabilitation of Wastewater Lines Through Trenchless Process – EPA SAAP Grant project in the amount of $4,332,821 plus a $216,641 contingency, for a total contract amount not to exceed $4,549,462.
